WIP   The Hill House

Driggs, Idaho

The Hill House offers an interplay between architecture and nature, sited within an embankment of a former gravel pit. Its design responds to the site's unique topography, with earth-bound walls anchoring the structure on two sides, establishing a deep sense of connection to the landscape. The house is defined by nearly 50 feet of floor-to-ceiling glass that frames expansive mountain vistas, creating a dynamic visual connection between the interior and the natural environment. A central 12-foot sliding door further reinforces this integration, dissolving the boundary between interior and exterior spaces and enhancing the spatial fluidity of the design. The result is a refined architectural expression offering a space to retreat, reflect, and connect.
